AGER MEILLIER FILMS

Ager Meillier Films was formed in
2005 when filmmakers Alex Meillier and Tanya Ager were contracted by the United Nations Mission of Support in East Timor
to produce a film about the UN partnership with the people of East Timor to build
the world’s first new democracy of the millennium. This experience left a deep impression on Alex and Tanya and helped them to realize that making films is their contribution to making the world a better place.

Today, adding to a wide array of projects that have taken them around the globe, they have recently released the critically acclaimed documentary Alias Ruby Blade – a feature film based largely on what they learned from that first experience in
Timor-Leste.
